About Us

Kids’ Team is the multidisciplinary team of the local child advocacy center (CAC), Kids’ Place.  This team is made up of agencies and professionals in Licking County that respond when a report of child abuse is made, including law enforcement, child protective services, medical professionals, mental health therapists, victim advocates, prosecutors, and probation officers.

The primary objective of Kids’ Team is to focus at all times on the well-being of the child victim and avoid any unnecessary trauma to the child and their non-offending caretaker.
